I've been waiting for the "update journal" page to load since 3:30pm. A speed test confirms that our internet connection has an average download speed of 120 bits per second. Phone modems had it better. This is the third day in a row that we've been putting up with this absolutely unacceptable service from our ISP, so next week we're switching services.

In the meantime, it's not letting me use Trillian, Xbox LIVE, stream videos, or upload anything bigger than, say, this paragraph of text. (I'm fully expecting the "submit" button for this journal to be answered with a "the server took too long to respond" page, forcing me to bottle up more rage. "Preview" doesn't work at all.) I am forced to watch television and read. Like some kind of savage.

As an extra kick in the pants, the fan on my third new power supply is dying and making tons of noise in the process. My computer sounds like a blender. Luckily it's still running fine, but it sure doesn't sound like it.

I've had it up to here with this thing, I'm getting a new computer. But I can't spare the cash to pick one up until I can get to work on the BeeAre comic which I CAN'T BECAUSE THE INTERNET IS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH. SOMETHING WORK.

I'd tell you about the art school but I'm too ANGRYRAGELIVID. We shall discuss it another time. Short story is, it seems promising but I've decided to examine the others in the area more thoroughly.
